Prior to joining Digital Learning & Design, TJ Kalaitzidis earned his PhD in Learning Sciences and Digital Media from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Education. His scholarship and professional expertise bring together elements of UX, Design Thinking, Situative Learning theories, and Game Design. He has given numerous talks and workshops across these topics at conferences across the country. He also teaches courses at Brown’s Summer program on Systems Thinking and Game Design, and represents Brown at the Ivy+ Biannual Meeting for Classroom Innovation. He holds a MA in Teaching from Boston University, and has a background in Communications and Philosophy.
