Prior to joining Brown, Rachel was a Course Developer for Metropolitan State University in Denver, CO. While there, she worked across disciplines on a variety of courses and programs pursuing her interest in creating inclusive course designs in higher education spaces. Rachel’s professional interests include digital accessibility of course materials and the adoption of free and/or open access materials. Before entering higher education, Rachel spent seven years teaching mathematics in K-12 settings and supported the development of K-12 teachers across the Southwest and Northeast.
Rachel earned her Ed.M. in Learning and Teaching from Harvard University and her B.S. in Education from the University of Oregon.
