Jaume Folz
Biography
Hey, I’m Jaume and I’m a junior concentrating in Behavioral Decision Sciences. I’m originally from Los Angeles.
I’m fascinated by how people make decisions, and I’m especially interested in the intersection of behavioral science and technology. As a Problem Solving Fellow, I primarily work on Who is a Brown STEM Student and lead the Translating Teaching Experience to the Job Market career workshop with Kevin, and am heading the new epistemology project.
I’ve also worked as a tutor and research assistant, which has shaped how I think about teaching and learning. I’m currently interested in applications of AI and computational modeling in understanding decision-making, and I’m excited about how these tools can help improve learning environments at Brown and beyond.
Beyond academics, I play guitar and follow basketball. I’m a part of the Brown sports analytics club and do analysis for the Men’s Basketball team.
I’m open to discussing PSF work or any of these interests, feel free to email!
