Gena Burke has been supporting technology for Brown University since 2005. Prior to joining the Sheridan Center, Gena managed Brown’s IT Service Center, an important resource for providing support and service to all Brown technology users, including faculty, staff, students and alumni. Her work at the IT Service Center included the oversight of a 24-hour help desk while managing its 20+ professional and student staff. In this role, Gena made significant contributions to the University’s knowledge base and developed a number of IT workshops and training tools. Prior to joining Brown, Gena held tech-focused positions with Providence College, Women & Infants Hospital and AT&T Broadband. Gena received a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications and an Associate of Science in Video & Radio Production from the New England Institute of Technology.
Gena is dedicated to providing support to Brown instructors eager to integrate the Sheridan Center’s learning tools into their courses.
