Andy began his career working in arts administration, most notably for Yoko Ono’s studio in New York, where he oversaw the installation of exhibitions, coordinated the production of art editions, and helped to catalog and manage an extensive art collection. After relocating to Massachusetts, Andy worked part time as a Digital Imaging Technician at Harvard while also operating his own photo/video studio in New Bedford. His clients included MIT, UMASS Dartmouth, Decas Cranberry Products, and Swarovski, among others.

In addition to his work at Brown, Andy has an arts practice which takes many forms including photography, video, and performance art. He has exhibited his work in galleries and museums in New York City, Vermont, and Massachusetts. For the past five years, Andy has hosted a quarterly performance art forum in New Bedford called Lunar Teeth. He’s also a founding member of the Queer Arts Council, New Bedford.

Andy holds an MFA in photography from Bard, a BFA in photography from Parsons, and a BA in Gender and Media Studies from Eugene Lang.
